[IT] Discobox è una performance site-specific interattiva con dj set.
L’intento è quello di attivare la fisicità collettiva ed esplorare il potenziale aggregante della danza attraverso la condivisione di un dispositivo coreografico.
Il corpo diventa così il veicolo di connessione con l’altro e con lo spazio, mentre la musica sostiene e protegge l’azione di chi sceglie di partecipare.
Discobox invita a diversi livelli di fruizione: si può solo osservare oppure si può scegliere di partecipare alla danza. Non sono previste capacità, abilità o competenze specifiche, ma, se si vuole partecipare, l’indicazione è solo quella di indossare le cuffie per ascoltare la musica e su di essa, semplicemente, ballare.
Il risultato è un’esperienza inaspettata ed inclusiva di interazione tra i corpi verso una dinamica relazionale liberata ed una risignificazione dello spazio pubblico, magicamente trasformato in una discoteca temporanea.

The goal is to experience collective physicality through dance and to create a disco that appears and disappears thanks to those who choose to participate.
The window shop is closed and when it opens, a dancer in a flow of motion appears behind the glass. The only way to listen to her music and be able to join the dance is through wireless headphones. Those who choose not to wear headphones can witness the appearance of an open-air disco. The movement vocabulary proposed by the dancer is accessible, repetitive and easy to copy. Participants can be inspired by what they see beyond the glass, influence each other or freely express themself.
Discobox is a connection device that creates an unexpected and inclusive experience of interaction between bodies through a liberated relational dynamic and a re-signification of the public space, magically transformed into a temporary disco.

The body is seen as the medium of connection with the other and with the space, while the music supports and protects the action of those who choose to participate.
Discobox invites different levels of experience: you can just observe the dynamic or you can choose to participate in the dance. There are no specific skills, abilities requested from the participants, the only indication is to wear headphones and dance, whatever dance means to you. The result is an unexpected and inclusive experience of interaction between bodies towards a liberated relational dynamic and a re-signification of the public space, magically transformed into a temporary disco.
