[IT] HIDE è una performance di danza e voce, dedicata a chi affronta la “note buia dell’anima”, come la chiama il mistico San Giovanni della Croce. Che cos’è questa chiamata verso l’interiore, questa passione per l’esplorazione delle profondità, che accomuna lo yogi, l’asceta e lo speleonauta?

Un viaggio che si affronta in solitudine, una chiamata a calarsi nell’abisso, nel corpo caverna, fino a incontrare qualcosa che appare come altro da sé: entità mostruosa, inumana, l’animale, la parte rimossa, la parte selvatica.

In questo incontro terrificante avviene la possibilità una fusione, perdita di sé, frammentazione dell’identità. La metamorfosi.

[ENG] HIDE is a performance of dance and voice, dedicated to those who face the ‘dark note of the soul’, as the mystic St John of the Cross calls it. What is this call to the interior, this passion for exploring the depths, that unites the yogi, the ascetic and the caver?

A journey one faces in solitude, a call to descend into the abyss, into the cavernous body, until one encounters something that appears as something other than oneself: a monstrous, inhuman entity, the animal, the removed part, the wild part.

In this terrifying encounter a fusion, loss of self, fragmentation of identity takes place. The metamorphosis.
