Diana Anselmo è performer Sordx, attivista ed essere umano improvvisato.
Bilingue LIS e Italiano, durante il percorso magistrale in Teatro e Arti Performative allo IUAV di Venezia esordisce con la sua prima performance “Autoritratto in 3 atti” (2021), tutt’ora presentata in vari festival italiani e non (DIS_Festival - Serbia, ORME Festival - Svizzera, Culturgest -Portogallo).
All’estero esordisce a Berlino, performando con artisti del calibro di Xavier Le Roy in "Le Sacre du Printemps (2022)”.
Come autore crea “You Have to Be Deaf to Understand” (2022), performance con due attori Sordi che è stata presentata in Italia e all’estero (Community Festival – Lisbona, Edinburgh Fringe Festival – Edinburgo, Sign Language Art Night – Stoccolma, International Visual Theatre – Parigi).
Nel 2023 conclude la sua ultima produzione “Je Vous Aime – una performance per gli udenti” che nel 2024 si appresta a diventare una solo exhibition presso il prestigioso spazio espositivo Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo di Torino.
Come performer è parte di Dis Contact (di Saša Asentić e Alex Achour); Freak Out!!!! (Laagam); Urla Silenziose (Tedacà); Monumentum DA (di Cristina Kristal Rizzo); Mondi Possibili (Fondazione Toscanini).
È tra i fondatori di Al.Di.Qua. Artists, prima associazione in Europa di e per artist* con disabilità, per cui ha partecipato come speaker in vari Festival europei (IntegrART - Svizzera, DansFunk - Svezia, Holland Dance Festival - Olanda).
Fra le varie cose, accessibility manager di Oriente Occidente Festival e membro più giovane del Cultural Advisory Board del British Council.

Diana Anselmo is a Deaf performer, activist and improvised human being.
Bilingual LIS and Italian, during their master's degree in Theatre and Performing Arts at IUAV in Venice they debuted with their first performance "Autoritratto in 3 atti" (2021), still presented in various Italian and foreigners festivals (DIS_Festival - Serbia, ORME Festival - Switzerland, Culturgest - Portugal).
Abroad they made their debut in Berlin, performing with the likes of Xavier Le Roy in "Le Sacre du Printemps (2022)."
As an author they create "You Have to Be Deaf to Understand" (2022), a performance with two Deaf actors that has been presented in Italy and abroad (Community Festival - Lisbon, Edinburgh Fringe Festival - Edinburgh, Sign Language Art Night - Stockholm, International Visual Theatre - Paris).
In 2023 they completed their latest production "Je Vous Aime - a performance for the hearing" which is set to become a solo exhibition at the prestigious exhibition space Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin in 2024.
As a performer Diana is part of Dis Contact (by Saša Asentić and Alex Achour); Freak Out!!!! (Laagam); Urla Silenziose (Tedacà); Monumentum DA (by Cristina Kristal Rizzo); Mondi Possibili (Fondazione Toscanini).
They are among the founders of Al.Di.Qua. Artists, Europe's first association of and for artists* with disabilities, for which they have participated as a speaker at various European festivals (IntegrART - Switzerland, DansFunk - Sweden, Holland Dance Festival - Netherlands).
Among other things, accessibility manager of Oriente Occidente Festival and youngest member of the Cultural Advisory Board of the British Council.
